Aaaaaaaamsterdaaaaaaaaam

FINALLY! I've been trying to get these pictures up for forever! So without further ado:

The origines of banana: You might notice a banana theme, as in Banana is in pretty much every picture. This is because our first day we went to get food and when I asked for a banana, the man told me to put it in my purse so that when I looked in my purse and found it I would think of Amsterdam. Banana died pretty quick, so we not only immortalized him in pictures, but we decided to buy a new banana each day to continue the idea.

Lots of red doors and a biker. No one told me Amsterdam was so big on bikes! I seriously had no idea!

Banana's first adventure: our canal tour. (Rachelle is currently kicking at a pidgeon, hence the face)

On the canal tour....

One of the only things I managed to get a picture of from our boat: the house of heads. I don't remember it's actual name, and I don't really remember the story to be honest, but it involves a woman cutting off a lot of men's heads.

The biggest bike parking structure in the world. ooooooooooo

Rachelle being pensive with Banana under a bridge. Still on the canal

This is a church that was formed after the Greek cross. Something like that.

Canal scene..

Brandon and I were thirsty so we dropped into a little store and who knew it had 5000 different types of water. So we decided to hold a taste test. Result: My bottle was cooler, but Brandon's water was slightly better. Slightly.

A random statue we came upon

I think I might need a bike in the states. I was motivated by the dutch.

Mourning the loss of a friend.

Are hostel was average, but the decorations made it really cool a mon avis, so I had to take a picture of the entry hallway. Banana is in there too in case you couldn't tell. It's the black blob in front of the coffee maching nearing it's final hour.

1/3 of the Homomonumnent. There are three triangles near the same area and this is one of them.

We're assuming the flowers were there that day because of all this stuff going on near by.

Our search for the Heineken experience. Our first step was this misleading Heineken sign.

But we did finally make it and this is inside.

Same thing.

Banana wanted to join the bouquet in the first bar.

Seeing as how I don't like beer, Banana got my freebies.

And then we made music videos!

And Katie and Banana drummed.

This, I couldn't believe! Inside joke at home, but seriously. Nice to meat ya.

Death of Banana #2. I don't know how an anchor= death, but it does.

I really wanted to rent bikes this day, but we never ended up finding a place, so we sat on a canal.

This banana made a nice half-heart shape.

The famous spidey kiss!

Nothing of note

The four of us wandering around the city (Brandon was at the hostel writing papers)

OK. Now this picture needs explaining. To me. Do you see a red button?

A more creative death this time.

Giant clogs!

And lastly, a sundial.
