Back on October 7th I took a day trip to Geneva, Switzerland with Rachelle, Jean, and Gina. The most exciting part of the trip: they have Starbucks! OK, just kidding, but we did get a drink there because there are definitely no Starbucks in France.
Not the best picture, I know, but it was pretty fall time in Geneva so I wanted to get some trees. And there's the flag to prove I really was in Switzerland!
Jean, Gina, and I racing on our horsies! You'd be amazed how many playgrounds are around Geneva. Or maybe you'd just be amazed that we played on all of them...
Yes, I helped Jean get up there. For a better view? For any reason at all? umm, no.
Their pretty Russian church. Sorry I don't know the details. We did walk up to the front door and concluded that a baptism was going on, so we didn't see inside.
Geneva's famous jet d'eau...
We were there!! (Rachelle et moi)
A big clock in the grass that really isn't as impressive as all the hype about it.
Cheese fondue for dinner of course! We had "Provencal" so I really don't know what was in that, but it was definitely delicious. The other kind we got was Gruyere and tasted exactly like the kind I make at home, so I made cheese fondue that next week for my roommates and it was a success! (I'm proud because I had to make it from memory since I don't have my recipes yet)
